Located on the corner of Cayuga Rd and Wehrle Dr on the border of Cheektowaga and Williamsville, NY.  The fry is skin on haddock and is available breaded or broiled.  The fry is served with choice of two of the following sides; coleslaw, macaroni salad, American potato salad, German potato salad, or french fries for $12.49.  They also offer a mini fish fry for $10.99.  Extra sides are $1.95 each, and portions are large.  The fry is served for lunch and dinner every day of the week, and reservations are not accepted.

McPartlan's Corner is a classic old time bar with a side dining room with 15-20 tables.  The menu consists of burgers and sandwiches, a handful of comfort foods, along with your standard fryer foods.  With the daily specials there is enough to satisfy most everyone.  I sat at the bar, so I cant directly speak for the service, but our meals came out quickly, and I didn't notice anyone waiting on food or refills.

Fish: a reasonably sized piece of skin on haddock, breaded and fried.  While I generally prefer a beer battered fry the breading was flavorful, the fish was well cooked, and overall it was a very good piece of fried fish.  McPartlan's boasts that they fly their fish in from Boston as the haddock was certainly fresh, beautifully white and flaky.

Tartar: a garlicky take on a classic sweet pickle tartar.  It was very good.

Sides:  All sides are homemade.  The coleslaw consisted of finely shredded green cabbage along with a smattering of carrot.  It was dressed and seasoned well.  The American potato salad was excellent.  The potatoes were diced uniformly, as well as the celery and onions.  Again, it was dressed and seasoned well.  The German potato salad was also very good.  It was tangy from the vinegar, salty and smokey from the bacon, and just a bit sweet from the sauteed celery (which I've never personally noticed in a German potato salad before).  If I had one complaint about both potato salads, it was that the potatoes were cooked a bit too al dente for my liking, though my friend that I was with disagreed, and appreciated the extra bite in the potatoes.  The macaroni salad had celery, and a bit of diced green pepper I believe.  But unfortunately, I found it to be bland and under seasoned.

Clam Chowder:  This was excellent.  It was perfectly seasoned and creamy.  The potatoes were cooked just right in my opinion, had plenty of clams, and the flavor was spot on.  All in all, this was one of the best clam chowders I've had.
